The Storyline of Pachinko Season 1 :
The Story is About a Young Women Sunja from a small fishing village in Korea. Sunja’s family struggles under Japanese colonial rule. She falls in love with Koh Hansu, a wealthy and enigmatic fish broker. When Sunja becomes pregnant, Hansu reveals he is already married, leaving her in a precarious situation.
Sunja marries Baek Isak, to save her Family from disgrace, a Kind and sickly minister who agrees to take her to Japan. They settle in Osaka, Where Sunja faces the harsh realities of being a Korean immigrant in Japan, Dealing with discrimination and poverty.
Pachinko Season 2 release date:
It’s been now confirmed that Season 2 will premiere with one Episode on 23 August 2024. followed by Weekly Episodes on Apple TV+ that will run through until the finale on October 11.
